Aqsa Kausar Becomes Pakistan’s First Female Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning

Aqsa Kausar, a talented alumni of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) NUST, has become the first female Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning from Pakistan.

She has overcome numerous odds on her way to achieving this feather in her cap. At present, she is working with Red Buffer, a software organization, as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) developer.

Aqsa has made several contributions to the field in Pakistan. She organized workshops at different events including Google DevFest 2018 and Google Cloud Next Extended 2019. The young graduate was also a part of Train-the-Trainer session recently held in Singapore.

‘Machine Learning’ is the systematic research into algorithms and numerical models that computer systems use to carry out a specific activity without the usage of a clear set of directions, rather they rely on designs and implications instead.

Aqsa graduated from NUST with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. She has made waves at a relatively young age due to her breakthroughs in the field of Machine Learning.
