South African cricketing great, Hashim Amla, has ranked Pakistan Super League (PSL) among the best T20 leagues in the world.
Amla, who has joined the league as Peshawar Zalmi’s batting mentor this year, said PSL is at par with Indian Premier League (IPL) and Mzansi Super League (MSL) when it comes to cricketing standards. In terms of bowling quality, the former South African batsman said PSL was probably the best in the world, he added.
The most self-effacing cricketer of the recent times was all praise for cricket-crazy Pakistani nation, saying that the fans here, are very knowledgeable.
From the crowd perspective too, PSL is simply amazing because the fans here are not only very passionate about cricket but also extremely knowledgeable too.
Amla couldn’t help but mention the never-ending supply of quality fast bowling in Pakistan.
Another thing I must add here is that Pakistan has a great heritage of having fantastic bowlers over a long period [of time] and in this PSL every team have got international bowlers who are exciting to watch.
Amla was also delighted to see the return of international cricket to Pakistan on the back of PSL.
