Moto Razr 2 is Coming on September 9

2020 has been the year to introduce successors for first-generation foldable phones. We’ve now got the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Huawei Mate XS, the Z Flip 5G, and now Motorola is looking to join the fray as well. The Chinese phone maker has confirmed that the Moto Razr 2020 is coming on September 9 next month.

The company confirmed the launch date through several invites sent to media outlets. The new Motorola Razr already has leaked hands-on images that show a clear view of the device. Design-wise, it does not appear to be much different from the original. It still has the same notch, a similar hinge and the same chin, except it no longer has a button on it.

It has a more curvy design this time around and appears to have a steel-colored finish.

The next foldable Moto Razr will be announced on September 9

The expected specifications are once again, disappointingly, mid-range. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 765G with support for 5G. This will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and around 3000 mAh battery. The rear camera will now feature Samsung’s 48 MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor while the front camera will be a 20MP shooter.

It will boot Android 10 out of the box and will have a larger screen this time around. As mentioned before, the Motorola Razr 2020 is set to debut on September 9, 2020.
