After a backlash, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has withdrawn the earlier notification that allowed selected flights to board passengers without the social distancing rules.
The fresh travel advisory, for both national and international passengers, now mandates the social distancing rule for the seating arrangement.

Under the renewed guidelines, the passengers will be seated, keeping the middle seat vacant. The travelers will not be allowed to change their positions during the flight. Moreover, the off-duty staff will also be seated according to the social distancing rules.
The new standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be implemented immediately. The policy will be valid until October 31.
International flights will keep three rows vacant while one row will remain empty in domestic flights in case of a medical emergency.

The CAA has maintained that the disinfection of all aircraft is mandatory before the boarding process begins.
All flights need to have the required protective gear for safety from coronavirus. The captain will be responsible for the implementation of coronavirus SOPs. Flights shall take-off after a clearance from the flight captain.
Passengers will be required to correctly fill the health declaration form before the landing of any international flight.
All passengers, crew members, and the pilots will be bound to wear their masks during the flight.
The flight attendants will ensure that any suspected coronavirus patient is carefully isolated and given due medical attention under maximum precautions.
