Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter earlier today and made yet another promising revelation in terms of developmental activities.
According to his tweet, Daewoo Pakistan Express Bus Service is set to form an alliance with Skywell Automobile, a Chinese automaker, to introduce electric buses in Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhry posted the photo of the formal invitation to the signing ceremony sent to him by Daewoo Express, saying that this is yet another major step towards the fulfillment of the promise. He further stated that the electric buses will start running on Pakistani roads this year and the manufacturing of the electric buses will also begin in Pakistan within the next 3 years.

The ceremony is set to take place today, however, further details will be revealed upon the conclusion of the event. This is one of many examples of the Sino-Pak developmental efforts that are taking place as we speak.
Earlier this year, another Chinese automaker BAIC, that had signed an MoU with Sazgar Engineering Works LTD. also revealed 3 of their vehicles that will be launching in Pakistan in the near future.
