Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a Rs. 40,000 price hike for all variants of the newly launched Toyota Yaris. It is also being reported that the new prices shall come into effect from October 10, 2020.
The company has not released any official statement as to why the prices have been increased.

After the latest price bump, here’s what all the variants of Toyota Yaris will cost you if you book an order on 10th of October and onwards:

|Yaris 1.3 ATIV Manual
|Yaris 1.3 ATIV CVT Automatic
|Yaris 1.5 ATIV X Manual

Toyota Yaris came out in Pakistan to a mixed reception from the car buyers. A large chunk of people is not too pleased by the car’s looks and the questionable built quality, whereas others say that the ride quality and the fuel economy are quite reasonable.
Still, it has been reported that the car is doing good in terms of sales, but not nearly as good as its predecessors i.e. the Corolla XLI and GLI variants. Yet, Toyota IMC has gone on to increase the price of the Yaris for the third time this year, while not making any improvements to the car.
