Work culture has changed following the Coronavirus pandemic, with companies across the globe opting for remote work to prevent their workers from falling prey to the deadly disease. Some big companies have even granted their workers the option of lifetime remote work after a shift in the work culture.
Taking advantage of this prevailing order, Dubai has launched a unique virtual working program for overseas remote workers.
According to details, the unique virtual working program for overseas remote professionals allows them to live in Dubai and work remotely while remaining employed in their country of origin.
The virtual working program will enable remote workers to relocate to Dubai with their families and live in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.
The new program has a validity of 1 year and its processing fee for each person is $287 excluding the medical insurance with valid UAE coverage.
Remote workers can avail all essential services in Dubai, including telecoms, utilities, and schooling under the program.
To apply for the program, remote workers must have a passport with a minimum of 6 months validity, proof of employment from the current employer with one-year contract validity, a minimum of $5,000 monthly salary, payslip of last month, and bank statements of 3 preceding months.
Company owners with a monthly income of more than $5,000 can apply for the program by submitting proof of ownership of the company for one year or more and bank statements of 3 preceding months.
