Xiaomi Mi 11 Will Be The First Phone to Be Powered by Snapdragon 875: Leak

According to a recent leak, the Chinese conglomerate Xiaomi has acquired the upcoming flagship-grade Mobile platform Snapdragon 875 ahead of time. We will get to see the processor in the company’s upcoming flagship Mi 11.

Moreover, Xiaomi is set to get a limited time-exclusivity for the processor as it got for the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition. It is still the only phone powered by the Snapdragon 768G mobile platform.

Digital Chat Station announced the leak on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

This exclusivity will be limited to China, though. Globally, Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series will be the first to feature the chipset.

Over the past few years, processor exclusivity is becoming more common, not only with flagship Smartphones but also with mid-range smartphones. As far as the Snapdragon 875’s exclusivity period is concerned, we are unsure how long it will be, but since it’s a flagship chipset, experts believe it will be around 1-month.

For those who don’t know, Snapdragon 875 is a 5nm chipset which is set to launch in December this year. It is an 8-core system on a chip with a 1+3+4 arrangement topped with Snapdragon X60 5G Modem. More details on the chipset will be revealed at the launch event.
