PCB is considering to change the venue for the T20I’s between Pakistan and Zimbabwe and the remaining PSL matches due to smog in Lahore.
Previously, Pakistan vs Zimbabwe T20I’s were moved from Multan to Lahore for the same reason. But, as the weather is continuing to change, smog is also rising at a rapid pace.
According to sources, the officials and medical staff of the PCB are aware of the situation and will decide on this matter after the conclusion of the ODI series in Rawalpindi.
If the smog continues to rise, then the T20I’s will be moved from Lahore to Rawalpindi.
The remaining PSL matches scheduled to be played in Lahore in mid-November will also be shifted to Rawalpindi.
Zimbabwe team landed in Pakistan yesterday and is going to spend a week in quarantine, before being allowed to train in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Zimbabwe’s tour of Pakistan is scheduled to begin with the 1st ODI on 30th October. The teams were expected to travel to Lahore after the conclusion of the ODI series on 3rd November. The T20I series is scheduled to begin on 7th November.
