PIA to Resume UK-Pakistan Flights from October 30

Days after announcing the resumption of flights to the UK from two Pakistani cities, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is now offering return flights to Pakistan through a chartered airline.

The national flag carrier has planned chartered flights from Heathrow, London to Islamabad and Lahore through a European airline. The weekly flights to the two cities will commence on October 30.

The booking process for these flights has already started.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PIA Arshad Malik has directed concerned authorities to accord passengers with the best inflight services.

To attract passengers, the national flag carrier is offering several perks:

  • New A330 aircraft with comfortable seats
  • Flatbed in Executive Economy
  • Delicious (halal) meal service
  • Attractive fares
  • Two changes in booking free

Moreover, the airline is also offering a special baggage allowance – 45 kgs for the Economy and 50 kgs for Executive Economy Class.

Earlier this week, the airline announced a phase-wise resumption of the UK flights through HiFly from 31 October.

These flights will operate from Islamabad to London, Islamabad to Manchester, and Lahore to London.
