Redmi’s upcoming Note device is due for launch in just two days. We’ve been seeing the Note 9’s design in teasers and leaks for a while already but with only little details on its specifications. However, a reputable leakster on Twitter has revealed those in full detail as well.
According to Ishan Agrawal, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. This camera will be a 16MP shooter.

It will have a quad-camera setup at the back including a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro camera, and an additional depth-sensing unit. These are rumored to be housed inside a square-shaped camera cutout directly above the LED flash unit.
Internal specifications include the gaming-oriented Snapdragon 720G chipset with two different memory configurations including 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The storage will likely be based on UFS 2.1 since the Redmi Note 8 Pro also featured it last year.
The battery compartment will house a massive 5,020 mAh power cell with 18W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 9 and 9 Pro will be offered in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black color options. All of them will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. We will get to see more once the device makes its debut on March 12 through an online-only event.
