FIA Will Blacklist its Corrupt Officials And Deploy Them to Remote Areas

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Director-General, Wajid Zia, has decided to permanently blacklist the corrupt officials within the agency for any posting.

FIA has issued a letter in this regard, according to which the corrupt officers, regardless of gender, will be deployed to far-flung and remote areas for 18 to 36 months.

A complete record of such officers will also be maintained, and they will be deployed at the immigration check post for 18 months.

Additionally, if they pressure the FIA for further postings, necessary action will be taken against them.

The letter detailed that officers on duty must wear uniforms and that the decisions regarding the postings of the officers at the check post will be taken by the Deputy Director.

The FIA has also been directed to begin criminal proceedings against 50 commercial pilots whose licenses had been suspended after an inquiry into a plane crash in Karachi.
