The motorbike enthusiast market in Pakistan has gotten more pronounced over the past few years, especially now with a range of options being available at relatively lower prices as compared to Japanese, American, and European two-wheelers.

In a recent development reported by Horsepower Pakistan – Rapid Rides has announced the upcoming launch of the Lifan V16S Chopper-Cum-Street Bikes in Pakistan. Lifan V16S has a 250cc longitudinally-mounted, air-cooled V-twin engine that makes 20 hp and 18 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Being a modern Chopper, the motorbike has other impressive features that include a D-Class LED headlamp, a 13-liter fuel tank, a pulse-type supercharged air-filter, a central digital instrument cluster, a BOSCH dual-pot ABS disc brake at the front, and a single-pot disc brake at the rear.

Rapid Rides is reportedly the only authorized dealership for Lifan Bikes in Pakistan and has been in the local market for about a couple of years with its KPR 200 street-bike that has had a considerable amount of success.

Rapid Rides had also brought the KPR 200’s predecessor – the V16 retro-style chopper – to Pakistan three years ago but it had failed to impress in the market perhaps owing to its steep price tag and other concerns for its maintenance and the availability of its parts.

This begs the question of whether the V16S will be successful in the Pakistani market, given that it will have a price tag of around Rs. 720,000.

Regardless, with all of its features and looks, the Lifan V16S makes for a fantastic and promising enthusiast bike.
