The federal government has distributed Rs. 46.97396 billion among 3,884,410 women across Pakistan under the flagship poverty alleviation Ehsaas Kafalat program.

The amount was allotted to 1,413,922 beneficiaries in Punjab, 439,615 in Sindh, 799,786 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 132,629 in Balochistan, 64,900 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 28,888 in Gilgit-Baltistan to empower them.
The Ehsaas Kafalat disbursements (July to December tranche) provided monthly stipends and savings bank accounts to underprivileged women from seven million deserving families against the unprecedented backdrop of the pandemic.

The beneficiaries had to bring their Computerized National Identity Cards with them to withdraw the amount of Rs. 12,000 each from either payment centers or through the biometric machines of the partner banks, and were issued receipts to ensure transparency.
Those facing issues with the biometric system were given the option to submit their application at complaints.pass.gov.pk.
