In the past, the ETPB struggled to carry out a proper evaluation of registered assets in the province, nor could it conduct extensive surveys of such lands since 1975.

In 2019, the ETPB Chairman shared the board’s plans for the retrieval, development, and utilization of assets in the province. The plans incorporated the constitution of a committee comprising ETPB, local administration, and representatives of Intelligence Bureau, and Special Branch for reclaiming ETPB land and properties that were illegally occupied.

In his report, the Chairman highlighted the board’s registered assets that comprised 15,619 urban properties, 19 plazas, and 109,956 acres of agricultural land.
