The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided a software house on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi on Monday night and seized its records, data, and computers.
The FIA team sealed the building’s entry and exit points, and investigated the employees of the company. It recorded the statements of eight people and vigilantly remained on the premises for almost ten hours.
The FIA Director, Abdul Ghaffar, stated that while the details of the case cannot be revealed yet, an official statement about it will be released soon.
Meanwhile, the software house has not given any statement on the raid.
In other news, the FIA has arrested a gang of five foreigners and one local for looting millions of dollars from several Pakistanis through social media. The suspects had used fake accounts on Facebook to lure people.
