E-Sports is Now An Official Sport in Pakistan: Fawad Hussain

The Federal Minister of Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has made an exciting new announcement for gamers. From now on, E-Sports will be considered an official sport in Pakistan, akin to many other countries.

He announced the move on Twitter, where he revealed that the decision came after a discussion between the Pakistan Sports Board and the Pakistan Science Foundation. He also told gamers to get ready as new opportunities will be coming their way soon.

Following this decision, we expect to see games like PUBG and PUBG Mobile flourish in the local gaming scene like never before. Tekken, CSGO, and Dota 2 are also some of the popular names in Pakistan, which are more than likely to thrive once the E-Sports market starts getting more traction.
