Upcoming Redmi K40’s Battery Stats Reveal Interesting Details [Images]

Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group’s Vice President, President of China Region, and Redmi’s General Manager, has always been a valuable source of information when the company has a flagship or an upper mid-range Smartphone in the works.

In his recent Weibo post, Weibing has revealed some new details about the upcoming Redmi K40. He has posted a screenshot showing that the Redmi K40’s battery, after 10.5 hours of use, is still on 64 percent and the MIUI system forecasts that it can still be used for 25 hours 4 minutes. The image shared does not reveal the exact battery capacity of the device.

Moreover, since battery durability is relative and depends on the tasks being carried out, we cannot judge whether the phone will last that long on heavy use as the post does not indicate whether the phone’s performance was recorded during heavy usage or not.

Apart from this, the screenshot indicates that the handset will have a screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.

The smartphone is set to launch by late March or early April. The company has not revealed the exact launch date but a teaser poster hints towards this time period. The Redmi K40, according to a previous post by Weibing, will start at $462.
