Quite like the Galaxy S21 lineup, Samsung’s foldables are also expected to arrive earlier this year. This is a rumor from tipster Ice Universe is to be believed who claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 will launch in July this year.
This would be months earlier than the last Galaxy Fold arrived, which was in September last year.
We may have to wait 5 months to see Flip 3 and Fold 3.

The move makes sense since Samsung also released the Galaxy S lineup earlier than usual this year and the company may be looking to create a new timeline. However, there is currently no way of knowing if it is the truth or just a rumor. The foldables may arrive in July but Samsung could run into some manufacturing delays.
On the other hand, Samsung may already have figured out what to do with the third iteration, especially since the first one went through a do-over to get fixed.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to switch back from Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) to plastic, just like the original Galaxy Fold. The main display may be a 7.55-inch panel while the outer display could be a 6.21-inch screen. Another rumor pointed out that the Z Fold 3 may cost the same as the Z Fold 2 at launch, which is $2000.
We have also seen alleged renders of the Z Fold 3 where it’s looking a lot like the S21 Ultra with an S Pen on the side. It is unclear how the stylus will work with a delicate plastic screen.
As for the Z Flip 3, the device is expected to come with a 6.7″ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display may also be bigger than the original Z Flip and rumor has it that there is also going to be a cheaper model this time around.
