Ahmed Mujtaba Aims to be Trained by Khabib Nurmagomedov

Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, Ahmed ‘Wolverine’ Mujtaba, said that his next aim is to be trained by the former UFC fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Ahmed Mujtaba believes that he can be the first Pakistani to participate in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and wants to be trained by Khabib to become one of the best fighters on the planet.

Ahmed Mujtaba recently defeated India’s Rahul Raju in the ONE Championship in Singapore, knocking him out within one minute of the opening round.

The Wolverine revealed that although it was Pakistan against India, he felt concerned for his opponent as he had to be taken to the hospital after the fight. He said that sportsmanship is the most important thing, and all should be forgotten once the fight has ended.

Ahmed was a guest on Shoaib Akhtar’s YouTube channel, and he talked about his plans and his training regime. Ahmed said that Pakistan has a lot of talent in MMA. The talent needs to be nurtured by the support of the government and urged the youth to take part in MMA as it is a healthy lifestyle and will prove to be beneficial for them in the long run.

Ahmed said that his aim is to be trained by Khabib so that he can compete at the highest level. Khabib recently retired from UFC after successfully defending his lightweight title by defeating Justin Gaethje.

Khabib revealed that he had made a promise to his mother that he will retire after this fight, and according to Ahmed, Khabib is a man of his word and will fulfill his promise.

Ahmed finally said that he is proud to represent Pakistan at Asia’s biggest MMA event, and he requires the support of the authorities to further raise the flag of Pakistan.
