The exciting young batsman, Haider Ali, said that he is ready and raring to go in the upcoming T20I series against South Africa. Haider said that he is ready to play at any position for the team and if asked to open the innings, he will gladly bat there.
Haider revealed that legendary batsman, Mohammad Yousuf, has shared some useful tips with him during the practice sessions which will help him in the long run. Haider said that Yousuf has helped him develop the temperament of an international cricketer, advising him on how to rotate the strike and stay on the crease for a longer period of time.
Haider said that it has been a huge learning experience for him and hopefully they will further work on his batting in the future. Haider added that he always gives his hundred percent for the country and the results are up to Allah.
Haider said that he is in a good mental state and is upbeat to face the Proteas in the T20Is. He said that Pakistan will be looking to whitewash the opponents and are fired up to bounce back from a disappointing T20I series loss to New Zealand recently.
He praised the efforts of the Test squad and said that the T20I squad will look to match their performances by winning the series 3-0.
The T20I series between Pakistan and South Africa is scheduled to be played on 11, 13, and 14 February at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
