NADRA Official Arrested for Harassing Women After Stealing Mobile Numbers

Karachi Police has arrested a man working at the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) on the charges of harassment of women.

Further details suggest that city police had raided the NADRA office in Karachi’s S.I.T.E area after receiving multiple complaints against the accused and arrested him.

After interrogations, the police determined that the suspect, who is a data entry operator, had retrieved the mobile phone numbers of women from the NADRA database and had harassed them by calling them. A police report that followed the investigation revealed that he had also sent the women obscene videos via WhatsApp.

Taking immediate action, the police has filed a case against the accused under the Telegraph (Amendment) Act ordained by the National Assembly.
