After a long streak of teasers and leaks, the Galaxy F62 has finally launched in India for $345. The phone comes with a massive 7,000 mAh battery and the 7nm Exynos 9825 SoC that features on the flagship Galaxy Note 10.
Design and Display
The Galaxy F62 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a centered punch-hole camera like most other Samsung phones. The rear panel has a textured finish and a square-shaped camera setup with four lenses. The LED flash is placed right below the primary camera and the fingerprint sensor is atop the power button on the side.
Internals and Storage
As mentioned earlier, the main chipset is the flagship-grade Exynos 9825 SoC that debuted with the Galaxy Note 10. This is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage though you can also have up to 1TB of expandable memory through the microSD card.
You get Android 11 out of the box with the updated One UI 3.1.
The main camera has a total of four lenses. This includes a main 64MP lens, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a duo of 5MP lenses for depth sensing and macro photography. The camera app is loaded with Samsung’s usual features including Best Moments, Smart Crop, filters, Boomerang, and more.
The punch-hole selfie camera is a 32MP shooter.
Battery and Pricing
The humongous 7,000 mAh battery is graced by 25W fast charging with a compatible charger included in the box. The battery takes charge from a USB C port.
