The Realme GT 5G is going to be the first flagship phone from Realme in 2021. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2021 is set to kick off tomorrow and that is when Realme plans to unveil the GT 5G which will also start off a new series of GT phones.
Previously, we had only seen the phone through leaks and rumors, but now we have our first look at the handset through official posters. The poster shows Chinese actor and singer Yang Mi posing with the device as she will be promoting the Smartphone in China.
The Realme GT is expected to debut in leather and glass back versions and the poster shows the glass model of the device. There is no GT logo on the back, but otherwise, the design matches what we saw through TENAA. The image also confirms that the rectangular triple camera setup is going to house a 64MP module.
Additionally, we can also see a USB C port, a headphone jack, and a speaker grille at the bottom of the device. There is only a single button on the right side, meaning that the volume rocker is going to be on the left.
Previous leaks have shown that the Realme GT 5G is going to have a 120Hz AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 888 platform, 65W fast charging, and 12GB/256GB memory configuration. There may also be a Pro model with a 160Hz screen, 125W super-fast charging, and of course, the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Realme is expected to officially debut the phone soon. We’ll keep you posted as more details are revealed.
