Apple May Replace iPad Mini With The Foldable iPhone [Rumors]

Rumors about a foldable iPhone have been going around for a while, but this is the first time we are getting to hear that it may replace the iPad Mini. The report comes from MyDrivers and it claims that the foldable iPhone that will replace the iPad Mini will also have stylus support.

The display may be sized somewhere between 7.3 and 7.6-inches diagonally but will feature a very tall aspect ratio. This foldable iPhone will reportedly feature a clamshell form factor similar to the Galaxy Z Flip and according to MyDrivers, will expectedly release in September 2022. Though a previous report from another source claimed a 2023 release date instead.

However, the report could be a bit far-fetched as the foldable iPhone is unlikely to replace the iPad Mini given the price difference. The foldable iPhone would be a first-of-its-kind handset with a high price tag, whereas the iPad Mini is supposed to be an affordable version of the main iPad lineup.

Apple may, however, phase out the iPad Mini in the future for some other reason but for now take all rumors with a grain of salt as none of this has been confirmed.
