OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 9 later this month. Since the company did not launch the OnePlus 8T Pro last year, the upcoming series will consist of three smartphone modes including the Oneplus 9 Pro, the OnePlus 9, and a Lite model.
Apart from this, we are expecting big changes in the specifications of the OnePlus 9 Pro. According to a recent leak by the Greek publication Techmaniacs.gr, the smartphone will come with a big upgrade in the camera department as compared to its predecessor.
The images leaked in the blog disclose that the handset will feature a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC topped with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage but no memory card slot. It will run Android 11 out of the box with OxygenOS.
In terms of camera, it will have a quad-sensor system on the back featuring 48 MP + 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP configuration. It will also support 8K video recording at 30 fps and 4K video recording at 120 fps. Although the spec-sheet does not specify the front camera, the image accompanying the leak reveals that the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with a single front camera.
Furthermore, the leak shows that the camera app has been redesigned and now the settings menu can now be accessed from the top and not the bottom as it is on current models. This redesign will allow users to switch between frame rates, resolutions, and aspect ratios while recording videos.
