Gamer Kills Female Rival Over Call of Duty Mobile Feud

Anger issues with a gaming obsession never end nicely. The issue has caused many mishaps over time which has led regulatory authorities as well as game publishers to introduce protective measures against this menace.

As such, a gamer in Brazil has taken the life of a rival player over a feud in Call of Duty Mobile.

The victim was a 19-year-old called Ingrid Oliveira Bueno da Silva who met with the accused 18-year-old Guilherme Alves Costa at his home for a Call of Duty Mobile competition. Both players belonged to rival teams and they had met a month prior and established contact online.

The accused reportedly stabbed Miss Oliveira Bueno repeatedly with a knife when she arrived at his home in Pirituba, north of São Paulo. According to reports, the accused confessed the crime on a video recorded through his smartphone which he then shared with his clan on WhatsApp. He also shared images of the deceased before leaving the location.

The killer was submitted to law enforcement once his clan leader alerted the authorities. After getting arrested, the accused even admitted that his mental health was perfectly fit and that he wanted to do this. However, his mental health will be analyzed in any case even if he claims otherwise.
