NAVTTC Has Carried Out Initiatives to Facilitate Overseas Employment for Pakistanis

A meeting was held between the Executive Director of National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Dr. Nasir Khan, and a delegation of the Overseas Employment Promoters at the NAVTTC headquarters in Islamabad.

Issues regarding the export of a certified skilled workforce and their legal migration to the destination countries were discussed in the meeting.

Dr. Nasir Khan apprised the delegation about the NAVTTC’s initiatives to facilitate the Overseas Employment Promoters, which will be helpful in providing an internationally recognized skilled workforce to the destination countries.

In this regard, a detailed presentation on the creation of the National Employment Exchange Tool (NEXT), and the establishment of 123 job placement centers across Pakistan and ten countries of destination-specific facilitation centers was given to the Overseas Employment Promoters.

Dr. Khan highlighted the significance of more than a hundred centers registered under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) initiative to certify the uncertified skilled workforce.

He also apprised the delegation that elaborate arrangements have been made by the NAVTTC to send a skilled workforce in a legal and transparent manner that may be properly availed of by the Overseas Employment Promoters.

The Executive Director assured the delegation of full facilitation in adopting these initiatives to ensure the legal migration of a certified skilled workforce abroad. The members of the delegation commended the NAVTTC’s initiatives and assured their full cooperation.
