The speakers said that Ali Sadpara was a beacon for aspiring climbers who wished to adopt the mountaineering profession despite all the perils it offers.

In order to commemorate the visit of the departed climbers to the district last year, the organizers announced an expedition of young climbers to the base camp of Tirich Mir — the highest peak of the Hindukush range. The expedition is expected to begin in July next year after the necessary training of the young climbers.

The speakers said that although Chitral has over 200 peaks with an altitude of more than 6,000 meters, locals have to train for mountaineering. This hurt Sadpara who had come to Chitral last year along with his team and had planned a series of activities to train the youngsters accordingly.
