Vivo X60 Launches Globally on March 22nd

In December last year, BBK-owned Vivo launched its X60 series consisting of the X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+ in China. The vanilla and Pro model were launched with Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset while the Pro+ came with Snapdragon 888.

Now, almost three months after the China launch, Vivo is planning to globally launch the X60 and X60 Pro. According to a recent announcement by the company, the launch event is set to happen on 22nd March 2021. We are unsure whether the Vivo X60 Pro+ will make it to the global launch or not. However, we do know that the handsets will be powered by the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Vivo X60 series launch date for global markets

Vivo has already started teasing the handsets in different markets. According to a landing page on Vivo Malaysia’s website, the smartphones will come with Gimbal Stabilization 2.0 and Extreme NightVision 2.0. The handsets will most likely differ in terms of specifications from their Chinese variants.

The Chinese versions of the upcoming smartphones are equipped with 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ displays featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate. the X60 comes with a 48 MP + 13 MP + 13 MP camera configuration on the back while the Pro model features a quad-sensor setup with 50 MP + 8 MP + 13 MP + 13 MP configuration. They boot OriginOS based Android 11 OS and come with 33W fast charging.
