Last week, OnePlus confirmed that it will launch its OnePlus 9 series handsets on 23rd March 2021 with new camera features and a couple of other improvements. Now, ahead of the launch, the company has revealed more details regarding the upcoming handsets.

CEO Pete Lau announced that those who purchase the OnePlus 9 smartphones will get two years of official warranty. However, he did not confirm whether this is limited to Chinese users or applicable globally.

OnePlus 9 Series 2 Year Warranty

This will definitely pique the interest of many consumers since most of the smartphones available in the market come with a standard one-year warranty. The company has added another year to its warranty since research proves that most individuals change their handsets after 2 years.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 9 5G is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 9 Pro 5G, on the other hand, will come with a larger 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and similar internals.

The main difference between these smartphones will be their camera specifications. More details will be revealed at the launch event.
