HMD Global has only announced one Nokia phone in 2021 so far, but that is only because the company has saved more for later. The phone maker has confirmed that it will be launching new devices on April 8 this year.

We have already heard about upcoming Nokia phones in previous leaks. Since HMD Global is rumored to switch around its naming scheme, the upcoming Nokia devices are expected to be called the G10, X10, and X20 instead of 8.4, 5.4, etc. The G series devices will be budget handsets, whereas the X series will be mid-rangers.

According to rumors, the Nokia G10 will be powered by the Helio P22 SoC and will cost only €140. The X10 and X20 will be 5G ready thanks to the Snapdragon 480 and the Snapdragon 690 chips for the two devices respectively. These mid-rangers are expected to cost between  €300-350, but the prices could change given that we are still weeks away from launch.

There is only one other 5G Nokia handset at this point, the Nokia 8.3 5G. Needless to say, the phone maker is falling behind in terms of 5G rollout.

There is no word on what will happen to other upcoming devices such as the Nokia 6.4 and 7.4. These will likely also release sometime later under different names, but we are yet to see what they will be called.
