Kuwait to Increase Participation of Pakistani Skilled Workforce in Multiple Fields

Kuwait’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, announced that Kuwait will increase the participation of the skilled Pakistani workforce in multiple fields.

He met with the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari, and assured him that Kuwait is interested in enhancing bilateral ties with Pakistan.

He also acknowledged the positive contribution of 100,000 expatriate Pakistanis towards the growth and development of Kuwait.

Dr. Al-Sabah also met with the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, who invited Kuwait’s investment in different projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.

The President noted that both countries have an immense unexplored potential of cooperation in various fields, including education, health, and science, and added that Pakistan can provide training to the military personnel of Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti minister also stressed the need for more strengthening of bilateral relations.
