Life in a bio-secure bubble can be a tough one and Pakistani players have previously expressed their displeasure on staying in a bio-secure bubble for a significant period of time. But this time around, Pakistan cricket team seems to be enjoying their stay in the bubble in South Africa.

Pakistan’s batting coach, Younis Khan, along with members of the Pakistan national team took part in a fishing activity in a pond located within their bio-secure bubble.

Younis Khan showed off his fishing skills to the members of the cricket team including captain Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi along with many other players.

The video of the fishing expedition was released by the official channel of the Pakistan Cricket Team across various social media platforms.

Younis was aided by Jackie, a South African official, who taught Younis how South Africans fish with a fishing rod. Younis seems to be a quick learner as he managed to catch a catfish, which weighed around 2-3 kgs. The members of the national team celebrated and praised Younis for his extraordinary fishing skills before Younis released the fish back into the pond.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam also took part in the activity, he revealed that the team usually goes around for such activities with Younis Khan and they have gone fishing multiple times.

Pakistan underwent their first practice session in Centurion yesterday as they prepare for an exciting limited-overs series against South Africa, the three-match ODI series is scheduled to begin on 2 April.
