The Nokia X series smartphones have been around for a while now. However, the company has never followed a theme with the releases. Until now, Nokia has launched different types of X-series smartphones. These include a multimedia-centric, a Microsoft-backed Android phone, and then an HMD-made Android for China. This time, it is all about sustainable 5G smartphones.
The company has announced two new smartphones, the Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 with full software support for three years and three years of warranty.
Design and Display
In terms of design and display, both handsets are identical. They are built around a 6.67-inch LCD panel with 1080p resolution, 450 nits brightness, 82% NTSC color gamut coverage, and a standard refresh rate.
The bezels are symmetrical on three sides, while the chin bezel is slightly thicker due to Nokia branding. The selfie camera sits on the punch hole in the center of the display.
Around the back, they come with a circular camera aisle that houses a quad sensor camera setup. The main difference between the two phones lies mainly in the camera department.

Internals and Storage
Internally, the handsets are powered by the new Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. In terms of memory configurations, the Nokia X20 gets more spacious options with 6 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage. The Nokia X10, on the other hand, offers 4 GB or 6 GB RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB storage.
The phones run close to stock Android 11 out of the box. For connectivity, the phones offer Dual-SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD/Adaptive, and NFC.
Cameras
The highlight of the Nokia X20 is its camera system that is led by the 64 MP sensor designed with ZEISS optics. Other sensors in the setup include the 5 MP ultra-wide sensor and a pair of 2 MP sensors for macro and depth sensing. The selfie camera is a 32 MP sensor with a fixed focus lens.
The Nokia X10 loses some ground in terms of camera. The main sensor has been toned down to 48 MP. However, it still comes with the ZEISS treatment. The remaining sensors are the same. The selfie camera, on the other hand, has been demoted to an 8 MP sensor.
Battery and Pricing
Both phones pack the same 4470 mAh battery with HMD’s standard promise of two-day battery life. The charging is done at 18W speed.
