Pakistani First-Class Cricketer Shot Dead in Balochistan

A young domestic cricketer, Muhammad Naeem, was shot dead during an armed robbery in Balochistan’s Chaman district.

According to the details, Naeem, a resident of Kali Haji Akbar Salehzai area of Chaman, was on his way back home from a local market when he was interrupted by robbers in a mugging attempt. Naeem was shot dead after resisting the robbery.

The incident sparked outrage as the residents of the area expressed their anger on the incident by burning down tires and closed down the Mall Road for traffic.

Family members of Naeem staged the protest by placing his dead body in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, demanding the culprits to be arrested and given severe punishment.

Sources privy to the matter have revealed that the local police have launched an extensive operation to search for the killers.
