Allama Iqbal Open University Postpones All Exams

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has decided to postpone all its ongoing examinations.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, the university consulted with the administrators of its regional offices to decide on conducting exams. They suggested postponing the examinations in the wake of the coronavirus situation in the country.

Consequently, the ongoing examinations for the associate degree, B.Ed, BBA, and BS Accounting and Finance and BSODL programs have been suspended.

The university confirmed that the new schedule to conduct examinations will be announced after the holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Meanwhile, AIOU has set up regional offices in the underdeveloped areas of the country, specifically places with low literacy rates in a bid to provide impartial educational facilities to all segments of the society without any discrimination and raise the education standard.
