South African Bowler Who Played Against Pakistan Converts to Islam

South African left-arm spinner, Bjorn Fortuin, announced that he has embraced Islam in the holy month of Ramadan. Fortuin recently got married to a Muslim woman, Mieshka Aysen, who announced that Fortuin took his Shahada last week and has also decided to change his name to ‘Imaad.’

The 26-year old has had a rocky start to his international career. He made his international debut in 2019 against India and has since gone on to play in only seven T20Is and one ODI.
