KPPSC Begins Hiring Hundreds of Lecturers

The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for Higher Education, Kamran Bangash, announced on Tuesday that the provincial government is initiating the process of hiring lecturers for 1900 posts through the Public Service Commission (PSC).

Bangash further clarified that 1057 male lecturers and 843 female lecturers will be recruited.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has advertised the posts of lecturers for various subjects, and the deadline for applications is 28 May.

The recruitments will be made under the directives of the provincial Chief Minister, Mahmood Khan, as part of the efforts to overcome the shortage of college teachers in KP.

However, this step may lead to an extra burden on the provincial funds.

Bangash stated that recruitments on such a massive scale are a reflection of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to provide Pakistan’s youth with education and a better future.
