Shadab Khan Reveals Why Pakistan Will Win Against England

Limited-overs vice-captain, Shadab Khan, believes that Pakistan has the ability to win the ODI and T20I series against England. Shadab said that Pakistan has a very strong team combination and their only aim is to win the series.

The 22-year old said that Pakistan has always played some good cricket in England and they are well prepared this time around as well. Shadab said that England are one of the best ODI teams in the world and are the current World Cup winners but Pakistan has always challenged them in the past and have the potential to beat any side in the world.

Shadab said that the team is confident, the players are in good form and they are upbeat ahead of the exciting white-ball series.

The young all-rounder said, “Of course, English conditions are different from UAE but Pakistan Super League 6 has given us momentum and rhythm and we would like to keep this momentum going by playing some exciting and competitive cricket.”

“The passion and love of these guys for the game is evident by the energy they have put in in the practice session today. It is great to be reunited as a team after competing against each other in the successful PSL 6,” he added.

Shadab also praised Pakistan’s in-form batting unit. He said that Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman have been exceptional over the past few months and with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in the middle-order, the ODI batting unit is firing on all cylinders. He added that the inclusion of Haris Sohail in the ODI squad has given them an extra boost as he is a terrific ODI batsman.

Shadab also praised the team’s bowling unit and labeled fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali as match-winners. He said that the duo are the two of the best fast bowlers in the world and have the ability to win the match single-handedly.
