The Sindh government has issued new SOPs to contain the Coronavirus from spreading in tourist destinations during the Eid holidays.
According to details, the provincial government has banned unvaccinated tourists from entering tourist destinations across Sindh.
The latest directive will be effective immediately and both local and foreign tourists will be required to present vaccination certificates in order to enter the tourist spots.
The Sindh government has also ordered hotel owners to cancel the bookings of all unvaccinated citizens as they could add to the spread of the Coronavirus in the province.
Essential businesses such as petrol pumps, hospitals, medical stores, dairy shops, and restaurants will be allowed to operate for 24 hours while non-essential businesses will be required to follow the operating hours issued by the provincial government during the Eid holidays.
As the wedding season will also start after Eid, the provincial government has declared the Coronavirus vaccination mandatory for guests attending the ceremonies. Only 200 guests will be allowed in indoor ceremonies while outdoor events will be allowed to host 400 guests.
