Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan will receive a museum and a music academy in his honour

A memorial building will be built in commemoration of the late musical superstar Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

According to sources, his nephew and singing sensation Rahat Fateh Ali Khan estimates that the building will take three to four months to finish in his hometown of Faisalabad.

He also mentioned that the structure would include a music academy and a museum.

On August 16, 1997, the monarch of qawwali died at 48, leaving a legacy of over 125 albums.
