Pakistan attracted $1.9 billion in foreign investment in july

According to figures issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Pakistan garnered $1.9 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first month of the current fiscal year.

According to statistics, total foreign private investment fell by 30% in July to $88 million.

In comparison to the same period previous year, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) reported net outflows of $1.1 million, a 98 percent decrease.

Foreign direct investment totaled $1 billion in the government sector.
