“Taleem Bachao Tehreek” will be launched in Sindh private schools

On Saturday, the All Private Schools Management Association Sindh said that it would launch “Taleem Bachao Tehreek” (save education movement) in the province. A day after, the Sindh government postponed the reopening of educational institutions by one week.

Teachers, students, and their parents will demonstrate outside schools against the closing of their educational establishments in the first phase of the action, which will begin on August 23.

It stated that all schools would use the Taleem Bachao Tehreek’s hashtag to submit videos and photographs of protests on social media platforms to pressure the government to change its decision to keep schools closed for another week.
