The bank account utilized by the main character Seong Gi-Hun is one of these details. These bank account numbers are real, and they have reportedly been receiving funds from fans in recent weeks.

Squid Game director Hwang Dong-Hyuk responded to inquiries about the show in an online interview, explaining that the bank account belonged to a producer on the show who consented to let them use the details to keep the show authentic.

“I heard that the producer has been receiving deposits in the amount of 456 KRW from viewers of the show.” “In order to prevent more deposits, the production team decided to shut the account to avoid future issues.”
