Government plans to build CPEC business and industrial tower

The Board of Investment (BoI) has submitted a summary to the Cabinet Committee on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CCoCPEC), requesting clearance for the “CPEC Business and Industrial Tower in Islamabad.”

The CCoCPEC meeting was originally slated for October 8, 2021, with Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives as the chairperson; however, it was postponed.

According to the summary, a copy of which is available, the BOI has already requested that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) identify a suitable piece of land in Islamabad on May 8, 2020; however, no suitable land for the project has been identified so far.
