Because of the ongoing depreciation of the Pakistani rupee and rising oil costs, gasoline is expected to become more expensive starting November 1.

Petrol prices are set to rise by Rs7 from November 1, according to sources in oil marketing companies (OMCs).

Meanwhile, diesel prices are expected to rise up to Rs9 a litre, according to industry sources.

However, they stressed that the ultimate price will be determined by fluctuations in imported oil prices over the next five days.
