Saudi Govt sets age limit for Umrah Pilgrims.

Permits to conduct Umrah for overseas Muslims are limited to people aged 18 to 50, according to Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Umrah and Hajj, abroad pilgrims must also be fully immunised against Covid-19 with vaccinations recognised in Saudi Arabia and produce a legally authorised vaccination certificate to get an electronic entry visa via a platform run by the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

In an effort to make procedures easier for abroad Umrah pilgrims, the ministry recently developed a facility that allows them to seek licences to perform the rituals in Mecca’s Grand Mosque.

Meanwhile, domestic pilgrims and worshippers must get identical licences and refrain from escorting youngsters into the Grand Mosque.
