On the second day of the 16th convocation of the Lahore College for Women University, a PhD student refused to accept her degree from the Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) Shahbaz Gill (LCWU).

The woman had tweeted about not receiving her degree on time, according to a source at the LCWU, and the administration had asked security and the faculty of social sciences to prevent her from entering the campus.

He claims that the administration afterwards failed to remove her name from the list. According to LCWU spokesperson Naveed Iqbal, no one attempted to prevent the woman from entering the university.
