If the due diligence is satisfactory, they proceed with an application for final approval for the change of control. According to sources close to the deal, the matter is still going through the first stage. Following SBP’s in-principle approval, both companies still have to perform due diligence and finalize the fine details of the deal.
In fact, CEO Papara, Emre Kince, has also given a clarification regarding the situation and unverified news:
“We are in discussions to acquire SadaPay based in Pakistan but the deal hasn’t been closed yet and there is no certainty on whether it will. Due to mutual NDAs signed by Papara and SadaPay, we would like to make no further comment on the process.”
